This breed of pony may look cute but they are also quite strong and hardy since the breed developed in the harsh conditions of their native Shetland Isles. Shetlands can come in almost all colours bred throughout the horse world with the exception of Appaloosa ( see AMAZING APPALOOSAS for more info on Appaloosas )
